We have been coming here for 10 years. Very affordable. Hot and sour soup is our favorite.

The Mongolian beef is amazing! Service is quick, portions are very adequate. Inside is clean and pleasant. Prices are the same lunch or dinner - which I really appreciate. And very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get

Great food, only giving it 4 stars as the mushrooms are not fresh they are canned. We ask for spicy, they made it spicy. Quick Service, made to order so you can add or subtract anything from the meal.

Food is always good no matter what you get. If you like shrimp ask for empress shrimp. Its not on the menu but they will make it for you. An amazing dish

Came in for lunch ordered from web Due to covid 19 did not realize what I ordered wasn’t the same as what I wanted . I did not touch the food and I explained to them . After going back and forth they were not customer friendly and I received only three shrimp in my shrimp fried rice for my correct order bad experience for first time customer .

Received no crab Rangoon, egg roll or soup with either of our meals. Contacted the restaurant and received a timely reply that they are sorry and will take care of us next time.

As a person of color, we’ve really got to stop patronizing the restaurants of people that don’t like us or value our patronage. Definitely disrespected in this environment and I will not return.

This company does not allow substitutions even if you want to pay the up charge. I do not want soup with my order and tried to sub for an egg roll. I offered to pay the difference which all other restaurants allow but they REFUSE to allow and wanted to charge full price. Will not be ordering from them again.

First time come , the server too rude, not even allowed me to use bathroom. The fried rice I ordered take long time and taste plain.I would never coming back.

Best Chinese in Ankeny hands down! Fresh and consistent with a diverse menu, and you get a lot of food for what you pay. Their online ordering system has been especially convenient during COVID-19. Only downside is you have to cross The Delaware to pick up your food, but it's always worth it!

Simple exterior, very clean and welcoming interior. Definitely a restaurant for those who enjoy the smaller and finer things in life. This restaurant quickly became one of my favorite locations for food in general, not just Asian cuisine. Catering to the known Chinese choices of food, this restaurant takes quality pretty seriously, as well as delivering with great precision and speed. A few minutes wait after ordering, and you will have one of the best prepared Asian dishes available at these price points. That's another thing to mention: you will be hard pressed to find another Asian food restaurant that matches the speed, precision, quality, and price this place has. Highly suggested stop for either a quick bite, or full meal.

We always have great food! Service is excellent!

Amazing food. Granted all I ever get is their sesame chicken which is oh so very very good. Just the right amount of sweet and just the right amount of savory! Always juicy chicken. The soups is always nice and hot and ready for a good side. My only issue which has only happened a very few times is occasionally the rice might be a bit dry, however I notice it's when it's the busiest at the place. Other than that it's normally always soft and delicious. I always recommend this place to friends when they are in the mood for some good Chinese!

It's not bad for fast food of the Americanized "Chinese imitation" food. The food was hot and fresh. The hot and sour soup was good. The egg roll was the best of the meal. It was recently cooked, had crisp vegetables. I went in the very early lunch rush, just after they opened, so good reason to be fresh. The service was good. They are nice friendly people. I asked for extra sweet sauce and they gave me an extra cup of sweet sesame sauce. Ok food. But no vegan options. I wouldn't go back for the options they have now. Good busy environment. It seems to be a popular place for lunch.

Started coming here months ago and well worth the drive from Waukee to Altoona. My gf and I love coming to this place as we have been trying asian cuisine places for years and by far our #1 place in the Des Moines Metro area. We recommend anyone to go to this place. The Mongolian beef is amazing and the spring rolls are the best in town. Very friendly staff and the place is very clean. The price is very reasonable and the portions are very adequate. We recommend this place to anyone who loves asian cuisine. We will definitely be back!!

😋this place's Mongolian beef is so so so good. The young woman working up front at the counter was beyond amazing. She was busy and still showed great patience and explained how the mad u works for dinner vs lunch and told be about the lunch specials while inviting me to return.
